Privacy Policy
RouteOne Work Management · Last updated: October 1, 2026
At Route One GO, accessible from https://routeonego.com (the “Site”), and in RouteOne Work Management, accessible from https://wms.routeonego.com (the “App”), both of which are operated by Route One Go Inc. (“Route One GO,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors and users. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Route One Go Inc. and how we use it. If you have additional questions or require more information about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us.
This Privacy Policy applies to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website and users of the App with regard to the information that they shared and/or collected on our website or in the App. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website and the App.
Google user data. If you connect a Google account to RouteOne Work Management, section 03 explains exactly what we access, why, and how it is protected. Google user data is used only to provide the App features you choose to use. It is never sold, never used for advertising or marketing, and never used to develop, improve or train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Where any other section of this policy differs from section 03, section 03 governs for Google user data.
01. Consent
By using our website or the App, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.
02. Information we collect
The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide your personal information.
If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you, such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.
When you are applying for a job or getting a quote with Route One Go Inc./Route One GO, we may ask for your contact information, including items such as name, company name, address, email address, and telephone number.
When you create an account in the App, we collect your name, email address and password, the organization you belong to, and the content you and your team add to the App, such as projects, tasks, comments and attachments.
03. Google user data in RouteOne Work Management
Connecting a Google account to the App is optional. Each connection is made by an individual user, for their own Google account, and only when that user chooses a feature that needs it. Google asks for your consent on its own screen before we receive any access.
What we access and why
- Basic profile (OpenID, email address) — to identify which Google account you connected and to show “Connected as” in the App.
- Gmail, read-only (
gmail.readonly) — when you choose to link an email conversation to a task, we search your mailbox with the text you type so you can find that conversation, and we then read the messages of the one conversation you select, so that it appears on the task. When you open that task, we check the linked conversation for new messages. We do not scan, index or bulk-read your mailbox. Messages are marked as read inside the App only, never in Gmail. - Gmail, send (
gmail.send) — when you write a reply inside a task and press Send, we send that reply from your own address into the linked conversation. We never send email you have not written and sent yourself. - Google Drive, per file (
drive.file) — when you pick a file in Google’s own file picker, we download that one file so it can be attached to a task. We can access only the files you pick and cannot see the rest of your Drive. Google Docs, Sheets and Slides are saved as PDF copies.
What we store
- Your Google account ID and email address, and the OAuth access and refresh tokens Google issues. Tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and are never shown to other users.
- For a conversation you link to a task: its subject and, for each message, the sender’s name and email address, the To and Cc lines, the message body, the date it was sent, and the names and sizes of its attachments. The attachment files themselves stay in your mailbox and are not copied.
- For a Drive file you pick: a copy of that file, stored as an attachment on the task.
Who can see it
A linked conversation and an attached Drive file are visible to members of your organization in the App who have access to that task, because sharing them with your team on the task is why you linked them. Only the person who linked a conversation can reply to it or unlink it. Route One GO personnel do not read your Google user data, except where you ask us to (for example, for a specific support request), where it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, or where it is required to comply with applicable law.
How we use it — and how we never use it
We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features described above, which you can see and use in the App. We do not:
- sell Google user data, or transfer it to data brokers or information resellers;
- use or transfer it for advertising, including personalized, retargeted or interest-based advertising;
- use it for marketing or promotional messages, analytics about you, or demographic profiling;
- use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes;
- use, transfer or sell it, in raw, aggregated, anonymized or derived form, to develop, improve or train artificial intelligence or machine learning models, whether our own or anyone else’s.
No AI or machine learning
RouteOne Work Management does not send Google user data to any artificial intelligence or machine learning service, model provider, gateway or aggregator, and does not process it with any AI or machine learning model. The App’s task summary feature is produced by deterministic, rule-based software running on our own servers; it selects and formats facts already present on the task, and no language model is involved.
Sharing with service providers
We transfer Google user data only to the infrastructure providers that host the App and store its files on our behalf, under confidentiality and security obligations, solely so we can provide the App. We may also disclose it if required by applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case the recipient must continue to protect it as this policy describes. We do not share it with anyone else.
Security
Google user data is transmitted only over encrypted connections (TLS). OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is limited to authorized personnel who need it to operate the App.
Disconnecting, retention and deletion
- You can disconnect your Google account in the App at any time. Disconnecting revokes our access at Google and deletes your stored tokens immediately. You can also remove the App’s access from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- A conversation you linked stays on its task until you unlink it or the task is deleted, so that your team keeps the context it was linked for. Drive files you attached stay on the task until the attachment or the task is deleted.
- You can ask us to delete any Google user data we store, or your entire account, by emailing help@routeonego.com. We will permanently delete it within 30 days, except where we are required by law to keep it.
Limited Use
RouteOne Work Management’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The use of raw or derived user data received from Google Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
